As the art director of the short film "Kohrra," I undertook the responsibility of crafting a visually compelling narrative that resonated with the emotional depth of the story. Collaborating with diverse creative teams and managing budget constraints, I meticulously designed spaces, objects, and atmospheres that went beyond aesthetics, becoming integral conduits for character psychology and storytelling. Balancing the film's themes of patriarchy and homosexuality in rural India, I orchestrated a visual language that juxtaposed oppressive environments with intimate connections, to distill emotions in the scenes. Through "Kohrra," I learnt the art of silent storytelling through design, where every visual element contributed to a nuanced, resonant tale.
